Katherine F. Shepherd, age 100, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012. She was born in Berryburg, W.Va. on September 4, 1911 to the late, Frank and Theresa Ventura Yocco. She was a loving wife, aunt and cousin and a loyal employee of the Lazarus Department Store for many years. Katherine enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, she was a great cook and loved to bake. Katherine will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Shepherd; her parents and sisters, Mary Lacaria, Rose Cavaretta and Raffleen Folio; brothers, Bott, Thomas and Sullivan; She is survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. Pastor Chuck Hedges officiating.
