Judy Lee Smith Coleman Ebright Harvey, age 53 of Columbus, passed away June 4, 2011. Judy was born September 13, 1957 in Paintsville, Kentucky where she lived until she was four years old. Judy is a very thoughtful, good-hearted woman. She was set in her ways, but there was really nothing she couldn’t accomplish if she tried. Judy was an animal lover, especially dogs and more importantly, her cocker spaniels. She bred them and loved them dearly. Friends were also something that meant a lot to Judy. Never wanting to be alone, Judy enjoyed entertaining and valued the relationships she shared with her friends. Judy enjoyed working on her home and was a dedicated mother. She was an avid NASCAR fan in which she followed Dale Jr. every week. During NFL season Judy rooted for the Dallas Cowboys. Preceded in death by her previous husband, John Ebright, step-daughter, Jennifer Ebright, paternal grandparents, Ben and Verlie Smith, and maternal grandmother, Geraldine Wright. Judy will be missed by her husband, James Harvey; parents, Joe and Loretta Smith; son, Shaun Coleman; granddaughter, Madeline Coleman; sisters, Tammy (David) Joe and Jacqueline (James) Finn; maternal grandfather, Johnny Wright; beloved cocker spaniels, Scarlet, Bash and Hershey; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
