Juanita L. Kientz

Juanita L. Kientz, age 91, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 6, 1922 to the late Owen and Helena Thompson. She was a lifelong member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church where she worked for several years. She also worked at Lazarus for many years. She was a member of the Franklin County Historical Society, the Mary Martha Circle, and the Evans Senior Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Donald; and sister, Marilyn Drost. She is survived by her children, Tom (Carol) Kientz, Ron (Judy) Kientz, Carole (Don) Tully, and Brian (Teri) Kientz; grandchildren, Jeremy (Shawna), Julie (Shwetak), Pat (Emily), Dan, Andy (Marisa), Scott, Rhonda (Chris), and Troy (Melissa); 7 great grandchildren, nieces, Judy (Jim) Rheberg and Deanna (Carl) Roshong; and nephews, Steven and Roger Drost. Friends may call on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, Ohio. Pastor Ray Rosenthal officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Juanita's memory may be made to St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church.
