John J. Francisco, Jr., 86 , passed away peacefully in his sleep March 21. Born April 24, 1934, in Columbus OH, he attended Linden McKinley High School and The Ohio State University. A job at Roger Dean Chevrolet marked the beginning of his long career in sales and business. From selling cars to homes, John opened Highland Mobile Homes Sales and later built Hayden Heights Mobile Home Park and Amlin Self Storage, in Dublin, Ohio. He went on to become a successful Realtor and broker, helping to pioneer the arrival of REMAX Realtors in Columbus. Always looking to his next venture, John was the quintessential entrepreneur, selling cars and investing in real estate in Columbus and Naples, Florida.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Yolanda (Guigliemi) and John Francisco, and son, John William Francisco.
He is survived by his children, Julie Morris (William), Leslie Plahuta (James), Marci Francisco, their mother, Sharon Francisco, and grandchildren, Sarah-Heather, Haley and Austin Plahuta, Abigail and Emma Morris. He is also survived by his brother, Ralph Francisco (Carolyn), sister, Nel Mesh, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank John's close friends and the many kind people who cared for him.
