Jerry H. Haller

Jerry graduated Bay Village High School in 1949 and the School of Architecture at The Ohio State University in 1954 where he was President of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Helen, sisters Carol Buchanan and Gail Caronis, daughter-in-law Michele and sister-in-law Robin Hodgson.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy, and their children Steve Haller of Westerville, OH, Lisa (Rick) Wertz and their children Blake Wertz of Worthington, Ohio and Corey Wertz of Denver, CO, Glenn (Brenda) Haller and their children Jacob and Olivia Haller of Asheville, NC and Patty (Kevin) Bock , Hayley and Brooks Bock of Spartanburg, SC, grandaughter Jacquie Skunda (Josh) Lozado of Hilliard, OH, , a great-granddaughter Lilly Lozado, brothers-in-law John Hodgson, Bob Buchanan, and Jim Caronis, nieces Cathy Hutchinson, Carol Bruce, Missy Paukstis and Kelly Hodgson Summers. Special thanks to niece Laurie Muenz and husband John of Jacksonville, FL.

He will miss his friends, companions at York Golf Club and the longtime friendship of Bill and Jane Wallace and family.

Jerry felt fortunate to have such great friends and family and his positive attitude was inspirational. He always enjoyed friendly competition on the golf course and loved all of the adventures of skiing, sailing, tennis, traveling and Buckeye sports (He really was at the Snow Bowl!).

He was a United States Air Force veteran, member of York Lodge, the President’s Club, and the “Traveling Squad”.
