May 25, 1939 – November 29, 2023
Jean peacefully passed from this life on November 29, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and sibling as well as a life-changing teacher and a tireless volunteer.
Jean was born on May 25, 1939 in Washington D.C. to Eugene Washington McStroul and Elizabeth Almira Heath. She is preceded in death by her loving husband and soulmate, Floyd Richard Williams; father Eugene, mother Elizabeth; brother Don Leo; daughter Sharon, and granddaughters Amber Jeanette and Tina.
She is survived by her children Beth Anna-Mary and Angela Jean (Clarence), a special adopted family member Harry; her grandchildren Roxanne, John, Alexandrea, Abigail, Aryn, and Aden; great grandchildren Billy, Noah, and Derek. She is also survived by her sisters Anna and Mary as well as cousins and their families.
Jean was deeply loved by a host of dear friends. Her legacy of compassion, activism, and faith will always be remembered by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Jean is appreciated in hope that we can cure this horrific disease.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
