Janice M. Wood, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at home. She was born on February 11, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Palmer and Maxine (Kirk) Stewart. Janice was a 1969 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. She was a machine operator for Pactiv International, and she enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Wood, Sr.; brother, James Palmer Stewart; sister, Donna Stewart and great-nephew, Tommy Stewart. Janice is survived by her son, David R. Wood, Jr.; grandson, David Alexander Wood; brothers, Wayne A. (Verna) Stewart and Michael L. (Maryann) Stewart; nieces and nephews, Marieanne, Jennifer, David, Ashley, Angela, and Jammie as well as many extended family members and friends. Family will receive friends 4-6 pm Monday, June 12, 2023 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 6 pm.
