James "Jim" Bruce Heinzman, age 45, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Kobacker House, after a lifelong battle with Crohn's disease and a short battle with cancer. He is finally pain free. Born February 26, 1976, in Warren, OH. Graduate of Highland High School in Medina, OH. Attended Tri-C Cuyahoga Community College, The Ohio State University, and Pennsylvania Culinary Institute. He made a career out of his passion for food and service. Jim worked in the food industry starting at the age of 14. For most of his career, he worked as a kitchen manager and later transitioned into food sales.
He was the #1 Dad! Active in Cub Scout Pack 210 in Dublin, loved guitars, and culinary delights. He was an avid LP collector.
In his final weeks, Jim was surrounded by loving friends and family- celebrating old memories and creating new ones. Jim didn't know a stranger and had a unique ability of bringing people together and setting them at ease. Those who knew him best will miss most of all his hugs, snuggles, laughs, inside jokes, singing, dancing and "rocking out" in the living room.
Preceded in death by grandparents Joseph and Roberta Krehel, Edward and Ruth Heinzman, and Joe and Florence Semanisin.
Survived by wife Erin, son Joseph; parents Joan (Dale Semanisin) Krehel and Bruce (Kathy) Heinzman; aunts, uncles and many other loving family members.
