Howard "Chuck" Stamm, age 64 of Reynoldsburg, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. Chuck was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, oldest of 8 children, son of Betty Stamm and the late Howard E. Stamm. Chuck was a very patriotic man who proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served two tours during the Vietnam War. He worked for more than 20 years as a security officer with Battelle. "Lucky Chucky" is what they called him at his favorite local bar where he enjoyed playing keno and having a drink of Jim Beam and Coke. In addition, Chuck was also an avid sports fan, mostly OSU basketball, and enjoyed playing cards, watching comedies, and he also loved animals, especially his cats. He was a true gentleman who was loyal, quiet, but could also have an ornery personality at times. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane Stamm; son, Christopher (Rebekah) Stephenson; mother, Betty Stamm; 7 siblings; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday.
