Helen is survived by loving daughter; Nikki (Ed) Hess, grandchildren Alan (Meg) and Maddy (Drew) Weissling, great grandchildren Peyton, Blake, Camden and Chase, many relatives and loyal friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband of 58 years, James Genoozis, sisters, Lois Davis, and Marguerite Dye and brother, Eugene Wagner.
Helen was a proud graduate of South High School, class of 44. She retired from Sears Eastland. She was a big part of her community and was involved in organizations such as American Legion 430, Eagles 3261, the Amigo Club and Reynoldsburg Senior Center. Helen loved to play euchre, poker, and slot machines. She was known for having and going to garage sales! Her garage sale motto was, “It’s not about making money, it’s about making friends.” She was a bright presence in people’s lives and will be missed deeply.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Marc Carroll, the staff at Kensington Place and Mt. Carmel Hospice who provided excellent care to her.
Family will receive friends Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9-11AM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A private burial will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery. Please share a memory or send condolences to Helen’s family.
