Geraldine Sutton, age 94 of Columbus died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Wexner Heritage Village. Geraldine was born in Chicago, IL to the late Isadore and Lilly (Joseph) Willow. From 1931 to 1939, Gerry was a dancer and chorus girl in the United States and South America. Along with her husband, Albert, she was one of the founders of the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Albert Z. Sutton; brothers, Harry, Roy, and Gilbert Willow; and sister, Esther Kessel. Survived by her children, Ira Sutton of San Diego, CA, Ted (Joan Leibovich) Sutton of Newton, MA and Laurie (Janice Ehrlich) Sutton of Los Angeles, CA; daughter-in-law, Gail Rosenbloom; grandchildren, Cary Sutton, Jill (Heidi Korthase) Sutton and Nicole Sutton; step-grandchildren, Mark (Meri Kolbrener) Leibovich and Lori (Larry Kanter) Leibovich; great-grandchildren, Noa and Anya Sutton Korthase; step great-grandchildren; Nell, Eliza, and Franny Leibovich and Carlos and Clara Kanter. A memorial service will be held 11 am Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Wexner Heritage Village, 1151 College Ave. Columbus, OH 43209, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 651 G Lakeview Plaza Blvd. Worthington, Ohio 43085.
