Frances Hill

Frances Hill was born on August 31, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio. Frances enjoyed many years working as a housekeeper/caregiver for the Crane’s where she became a part of their family. On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Frances entered eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Napper; father, Arthur Vern Hill; brothers, Loren Hill, Arthur Jr. Hill, Harry Vore; brothers-in-law, Clifford R. Nichols, Sr. and Leon M. Carr, Sr. Frances is survived by sons, Brian W. Hill and Robert S. Hill, Sr.; daughter, Susan R. Hill; honorary son, Markeith McCarey; siblings, Louise Carr, Lola Nichols, Tommie Hill, Patricia Norman (Richard Norman, Sr.), James Hill; grandkids, Phillip Strother, Shawn Alease Hill, Ayiesha Strother, Robert Shawn Hill, Jr., Charity Deshawn Hill; four great-grandkids; close friends, Henry, Reggie, Trina, and Renee; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation for Frances will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Schoedinger East, 5360 E Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232, followed by a homegoing service at 2:00 PM.
