Evelyn Bice Erlanger

Evelyn Bice Erlanger age 67 passed away at her home Sunday night, November 3, 2013. Born and raised in Lima, OH., active 4H member, graduated from Bath High School, She earned both a BA degree in 1969 and a Master degree in Education in 1975 from The Ohio State University. During her 30+ year career as an elementary teacher at Hamilton Twp. she became a Master Teacher assisting in the training of new teachers. She was a Jennings Scholar and a member of The OSU College of Education Alumni Board, as well as, a member of The OSU Presidents Club. She assisted her husband in founding Nich Marketers Veterinary Products Co., Innis Woods volunteer, was an avid gardener, lover and caregiver of animals in need and active member of the E. North Broadway UMC. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Eva Bice. She is survived by her loving husband, Ed; sons, Greg (Amy), Eric (Christy); grandson, Tyler; sister, Judy Catobius; dearly loved niece, Jessica (Caleb Hiner) Catobius; godchildren, Christopher and Emily Gaukler, numerous family pets and numerous grateful students and friends. High St. Worthington, OH 43085A Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at North Broadway United Methodist Church, 48 E. North Broadway, Columbus, OH. 43214., where family will receive guests 1 hour prior to Evelyn’s funeral service. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
