Elaine Webb, 89, of Powell, passed away on June 23, 2021 suddenly yet peacefully. Elaine was born in Cleveland on June 22, 1932, to the late Delton and Ruby (Crum) Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marcella (Jack) Trimmer; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Taylor; her two nephews Dave Taylor and Jamie Trimmer: and her two special dogs, Putter and Jazz.
Elaine was a bright light even on her darkest day. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Elaine was kind, honest, sweet, funny, stylish, sweet, loving - she was simply amazing. She was a great support and biggest cheerleader to her husband, Bob, as he grew his residential construction company over the last 60 years. She was the best mom anyone could dream of having. She was always a hard worker and started to work when she was 13. She put herself through college and graduated from Ohio State. She loved watching the Buckeyes playing football and basketball. Elaine loved playing tennis, working in the yard, ice cream for breakfast, playing cards, chocolate, sleep overs with Ava - but above all, she cherished her time with family and friends!
Elaine will be greatly missed by her husband, Bob Webb; children, Becky (Neil) Rogers and Doug Webb; granddaughter, Ava Rogers; brother, Pete Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephew, extended family, and close family friends.
No services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the Carpe Diem Foundation, 6590 Lockhart Lane, Dublin, OH 43017 or www.carpediem-foundation.
