Dawn E. Barnes

Dawn E. Barnes, age 50 of Groveport, passed away March 21, 2011. Dawn was born in Columbus, daughter of the late Louise and John Barnes, Sr. Also preceded in death by her precious daughter, Ashley Barnes, and siblings, Lewis Barnes, John Barnes, Jr., and Darlene Roe. Dawn was a woman who valued friendships and made family a priority in her life. She had countless nieces and nephews and took care of them as if they were her own children. Dawn had an enormous heart and will be missed by many. She is survived by her brother, Gary (Barb) Barnes; nieces and nephews, Kristy, Shawn, Louie, April, Stacey, Brian, Becky, and Wayne; and numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends, and special friend, Sandra Ward. Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until time of service.
