David Randall Smith, age 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 8, 1971. David was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Smith; aunt, Pam Smith; uncles, Jim Smith and John Abshire; and cousin, Jason Abshire. He is survived by his aunt, Wanda Abshire; cousins, Mary (John) Cobb, John (Dee) Abshire, Brittany Smith, Danielle (Daniel) Glick, and Richard (Samantha) Aguirre; and many other loving family members and friends. David was an avid fan of The OSU Buckeyes, the Bengals, and Nascar. He loved pizza, music, and collecting sock monkeys. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43204 where funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio
