Collin Gabriel Burt

Collin Gabriel Burt, age 24 of Columbus, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. Collin was born and raised in Columbus. He graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Class of 2015 where he lettered in wrestling 3 times. He then went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky, Class of 2019 where he earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Collin enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and kayaking, and most importantly, being with friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen (Ted) Thompson. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Randy and Christina "Cricket" Burt; sister, Emily Burt; very special aunt, Wendy Adams; girlfriend, Samantha "Sammi" Pietronuto; grandparents, Virginia "Ginny" Burt, Fred (Sue) Burt, and Ted (Karen nee Patrick) Adams; uncles, Ric (Michelle) Burt, Ron Burt, and Ted (Tracy) Thompson; aunt, Diana Downs; cousins, Allison and Lexi Burt, Jordan and Jamie Downs, and Jaden Franey; faithful companion, Maverick; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 12-3 P.M. Sunday, February 13, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, February 14, 2022.
