Colleen Casdorph Hamilton, age 56 of Columbus, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013. Colleen was born and raised in Columbus, oldest daughter of Ben and Ruthie Casdorph. Colleen graduated from Upper Arlington High School, Class of 1975. Colleen was born to be a mother and made that the focus of her life. Her children's hobbies became her hobbies; her grandchildren's joy became her joy; and the love she had for her family shined through above all else. Colleen was truly a loving, gentle and cheerful woman who had a beautiful spirit. She was a longtime member of Meadow Park Church of God and had currently been employed with Avery Animal Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, devotions, and loved a strong cup of coffee. She will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Heather (Brady) Minich, Lauren (Eric) Conley, Anna (fiancé, Michael Lutz) Hamilton, and Hayley Hamilton; grandchildren, Sofia, Landon, and Carter Minich; parents, Ben and Ruthie Casdorph; siblings, Craig (Kathy) Casdorph, Cinda (Mark) Wickersham, and David Casdorph; faithful companion, Idgie; and many other extended family members, honorary children, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Rd., where family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday and 10-11 A.M. Wednesday.
