Brooke Leigh Hammond

Brooke Leigh Hammond, age 30, was a believer in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and went to be with Him on September 27, 2009. Brooke will be remembered for her huge heart for the helpless and needy. She loved her two young daughters, MeKenna and Kelsey with every ounce her heart had to give. She loved to cuddle and talk to them, doing arts and crafts with them, and helping them with their school work. Brooke will be forever missed by MeKenna and Kelsey, her Mommy, Connie Hammond, and her Dad, Eddie Hammond. She is also survived by her brother; Kyle (Jess) Hammond; her sister Kerry (Bob) Santa; niece Courteney and nephew Justin. Grandparents Bill and Jean Dunaway (Poppy and Mom Mom). Aunts and Uncles Judy Molter, Jackie Hammond, Sharon (John) Stiles, Eddie (Judy) Dunaway and many cousins. Preceeded in death by her grandparents Turner and Joan Hammond (Pa Pa and Ma Ma) and great grandparents Clay and Connie Dunaway (Pa and Connie Mom) and James and Minnie Hammond. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 11:30 am, Thursday, October 1, 2009. Interment to follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
