Belva Jeanine Glaze

Belva “Jean” Glaze, age 92, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born November 24, 1929 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Evie and Edna Waugh. Jean is survived by loving husband, of 65 years, Frederick A. Glaze, nephews; Wayne (Anita) Corbin of Cincinnati, OH, and John Corbin of Rising Sun, IN, nieces; Mary Isabel of Columbus, OH, Sherrie (Tony) Backart of Louisville, KY, Shelley Brown of Jasper, IN, Jennie (Dean) Hellman of Chillicothe, OH, Hope (Wayne) Rider of Beaver, OH, Carol Turner of Beaver, OH and Laura Seidenman of Rising Sun, IN, along with other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, siblings; Edward Waugh, Norman Waugh, Everett Waugh and Carolyn Sue Corbin, nieces; Teresa Crabtree, Brenda Graves, and Martha Sue Waugh, and nephew, Terry Waugh. Jean graduated from Jackson High School, class of 1947. After high school she was bookkeeper for an attorney, and later in life she became a co- owner of Greater Columbus Antique Mall in German Village. Jean was an animal lover especially cats. She was a bright presence in people’s lives and will be missed deeply. Entrusted arrangements SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME. A private burial will take place Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
