Preceded in death by her only son Gary Sizemore, two of her younger brothers and her much loved Shiz Tsus-Foogie, Spike and Jingles.
Bea met Chet while both were at the hospital, she was 13 and watching over her ill brother and Chester was recovering from diphtheria. When he awoke she was the first thing he saw and he said, “I must have died and gone to heaven because I see an angel.” Later he told her that one day he was going to marry her and promised he would buy her a milkshake every day if she would marry him. He kept his word, and they were married four years later when he returned from the Navy. They had a great love that will last through eternity.
After they married they moved to Columbus, Ohio to start their life together; having three children and eventually settling in Reynoldsburg for the next 69 years where they ran their business, Sizemore Plumbing.
Bea was known for her loving, devoted and caring personality to all of her family and friends. She was also known for her kindness and generosity and was considered a second mom to many. She loved hosting large family gatherings at her home. She would have big Easter egg hunts and bake lots of Christmas cookies to share and give away, first with her children and grandchildren, then with her great grandchildren. She loved all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite; decorating her whole house inside and out, including three trees inside and thousands upon thousands of outdoor lights and yard decor that would rival Clark Griswold, which people would travel every year to see. Her fruit cakes were famous as well as her intricate gingerbread houses that she gave away and donated to charity auctions.
Bea was very active and adventurous. She loved boating on Lake Erie, visiting Florida, Put-in Bay, and Mexico as well as flying planes. She frequently watched the Buckeye games at the Reynoldsburg VFW and loved cooking for their potlucks. She was known for her knock-you-out bourbon balls and Everclear cherries!
Bea will be profoundly missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.
