Barbara Jean Johnson

Barbara Jean Johnson, 87, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a short illness. Barbara was born in Lancaster, Ohio, on March 9, 1933, to Eugene and Katherine Martin. Barbara professed faith and love in Jesus Christ. She was a founding member of United Faith International and served faithfully in many areas of the ministry. After her love of God, Barbara’s pride and joy was her family. Her priority was loving her husband Charles, daughter Katherine, and grandson Kenny Ray with all her heart. As a full time homemaker, Barbara poured all her energies into filling her home with love and joy for them.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Katherine Martin, Husband Charles, and Daughter Katherine. She is survived by one brother Robert (Shirley) Martin; a grandson Kenny Ray; special friend Virginia Nutt, and a host of relatives and friends. A funeral service will held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2021at Heart & hope by Schoedinger – Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where friends will be received after 10am Monday.
