August Larry Russo

August L. Russo, age 85, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Michael and Marion (Mascari) Russo. Auggie was a custom home builder by trade. He loved nature, enjoyed kayaking, gardening, and all animals. Auggie had a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh. In addition to his parents, Auggie was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Catherine (Jim) Metcalf; sister-in-law, Wanda Russo and his beloved dog, Lucy. He is survived by Son and daughter-in-law, August "Auggie" Russo, Jr. (Sue); his daughter and son-in-law, Tricia Langenkamp (Mike); their mother, Lois Basil; four grandchildren; brother, Joe Russo and half-brother, Jimmy Lascola and four nieces. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
