Norma graduated from Columbus High School in 1949. She was employed by COSCO, retiring after several years of service. She was also a member of East Columbus Christian Church and enjoyed ballroom dancing.
Surviving are her children, Donald (Kimberly) Imel of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Mark (Cindy) Imel of Hartsville, Norman Minor, Jr. of Martinsville, and Brenda (Kevin) Rager of Bargersville; grandchildren, Erin Brooke (Joshua) Ritter of Nashville, TN, and Evan (Courtney) Imel of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and great-grandchildren, Flynn and Crosby Ritter, both of Nashville, TN; and Abigail and Joshua Imel, both of Royal Palm Beach, FL. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Donald Imel and Norman E. Minor, Sr.; a sister, Ruby Ross; and a brother, Bob Ahrmann.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at Myers-Reed Chapel with her son, Pastor Donald Imel, officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Visitation will also be at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. until service time.
