Gordon T. Ricketts

Gordon T. Ricketts, 88, of Hartsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Keepsake Village of Columbus. He was born December 20, 1935 in Columbus to Carl and Ethel (Tolen) Ricketts. They preceded him in death. Mr. Ricketts was a life-long Bartholomew County resident. He was also a self-employed businessman and farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Diane Hodges; brother, Ronald Ricketts; and sister, Mary Schuder. Surviving are his loving sons, Gordon D. Ricketts of Columbus, Mark Ricketts and Christopher A. Ricketts, both of Hope; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Myers-Reed Chapel. Memorials in his name should be directed to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
