He left this world after a brief battle with cancer on April 19, 2021 at age 61.
Bill spent the best years of his life trudging the road of happy destiny with his love and wife, Serena.
He leaves behind the love his life Serena Bishop; daughter Mary; sons Joey (Jessica); William “Billy” (Teresa); grandchildren Shalyn, Triton, Ayana and Maddox; parents Tom and Dorothy Bishop; brother Thomas; and many other loving relatives and friends.
After graduating from Spencer High School, through hard work and dedication, Bill worked his way into leadership in the foundry industry eventually retiring from New River Castings in Redford, Virginia. Bill moved back home to Columbus in 2005 to be nearer to his parents and care for them.
Bills family and friends describe him as patient, selfless, loving, caring, compassionate, gracious, humble, my rock, passionate, genuine, grateful, tenacious, dependable, loyal, peaceful, kind-hearted, ironman and most importantly, servant.
Bill will be missed by many.
