Timothy Wyman Perry age 71, of Harris County passed away peacefully on October 6, 2013 surrounded by his family & friends.
Tim was born on November 27, 1941 in Augusta Georgia. He relocated to Harris County where he was stationed at Fort Benning. Tim had a very successful military career as a professional solider & retired as a SFC in 1980. He then went into a career in law enforcement until 1997.
Tim was survived by his sister Ann Wooten son Travis Perry and wife Jessica, son Timothy Perry. He was the proud pappa to his grandsons, Cohen, Trace & Christian Perry as well as the uncle to Delisa Cobb and great uncle to Kyndall, Abi and Gabi Cobb and his beloved dog Rico.
Graveside services will take place Friday October 11th at the Main Post Cemetery Fort Benning at 1:00pm with full military honors. Family and friends will meet at Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus at 11:30 to be escorted to Ft. Benning by the patriot riders.
