Terry “Scott” Harwood Jr., age 49, of Midland, Georgia, passed away on February 27, 2018. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. During the visitation time will be taken to share memories and have a brief service.
Scott was born on June 26, 1968, in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania; he is the son of Terry Scott Harwood, Sr. and Lynda Harwood. Scott graduated from Shaw High School and attended Columbus College. On August 3, 1991, Scott married Tracy Michele Williams, they have been married for 26 years. They are the parents of three daughters, Courtney, Melanie and Kahlan. Scott worked at Columbus Foundries. He enjoyed ice hockey and his favorite team was the Washington Capitals. He also enjoyed NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves, Penn State Football, vintage cars and gardening.
Survivors include: His wife, Tracy; three daughters, Courtney, Melanie and Kahlan Harwood; his father, Terry Scott (Sharon) Harwood, Sr.; his mother Lynda Harwood, a sister Sally (Joey) Roush; a niece, Emily McDaniel; a nephew Cameron Franklin; and his Father and Mother-in-law Peter and Shirley Nowlan (Tammy).
