Sue E. Taylor

The family will welcome guests for visitation Friday, October 20, 2017 6:00-8:00 pm in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 11:00 am at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2101 Wildwood Ave. Columbus, GA, with burial at the GA National Cemetery, Canton, GA on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Reverend Doctor Shane Green and Reverend Doctor Buddy Cooper will Officiate.

Mrs. Taylor was born July 24, 1930 in Canton, GA, to her late parents Carl C Edge, Sr. and Marie Westbrook Edge. She was a retired Muscogee County Teacher, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she was President of her Sunday school class, Neighborhood Network member, Label Ladies, Domino Club, and Meals on Wheels.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wyndell Lee Taylor, Sr. She is survived by: son, Wyndell Lee (Nancy) Taylor, Jr; daughter, Rebecca Taylor (Doug) Troutman; granddaughters, Kathryn Marie Troutman, Erin Taylor Troutman (Derek) Doty; great grandchildren, Hanna Sue Doty, and Owen Douglas Doty.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to St. Paul United Methodist Church or Wynnton Neighborhood Network
