Sandra Rothschild, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 in Lancaster, PA surrounded by her loving family, after a brave battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Sandra was born on January 25th, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Johnson & Agnes Bareksten.
Sandra worked in the architecture industry through which she met her late husband, Elliot Rothschild. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Karen; her stepchildren, Wilson, Stephanie, and Sandra; and her grandchildren, Rebekah, Jacob, Andrew, Owen, Elisha, and Nathan.
Sandra loved the snow, especially if she could be curled up by a fire with a cup of coffee and a good mystery novel. She volunteered and worked at Rodeph Shalom synagogue in Philadelphia, PA and was passionate about her Jewish faith. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor, her incredible taste in interior design, and her love for her family.
A Graveside Service will be held at Riverdale Cemetery, 1000 Victory Drive, Columbus, GA 31901 on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 3:00PM. Rabbi Larry Schlesinger will be officiating.
