Ronald Wayne "Big Daddy" Lowe

February 29, 1936 -August 29, 2014

Centerville, , GA- Mr. Ronald Wayne Lowe formerly of Columbus, GA., died August 29, 2014 at Houston County Hospital in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Naomi Ruth Lowe and his parents Blane Howard Lowe and Virginia Lowe Bijack.

Mr. Lowe was born February 29, 1936 in Richlands, Virginia. He lived in Columbus, GA., most of his life until this year when he had to move to Centerville, GA., to be with his daughter due to his declining health. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church since 1972.

Funeral services for Mr. Lowe will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the Mill Room at Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Reverend John Rigsby officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. A reception will follow after the interment at the funeral home.

Visitation for Mr. Lowe will be from 5-7 pm, on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the funeral home.

Survivors include, Patricia Ann Knott of Lebanon, MO., Ralph M. Knott and Linda D. Knott of Sequin, TX., and LaDonna Faye Hoopes and Randy G. Hoopes of Centerville, GA., Michael Lowe of San Jacinto, CA., and Mona Jean Peterson of Tucson, AZ. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
