Patricia Harbin Wellborn

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 23, 2011 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. Reverend John Talley and Dr. Geoffrey Hammond will officiate according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. The family will receive friends today from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Wynnbrook Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wellborn was born November 23, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia daughter of the late Dewey H. Harbin and Aldine Bartlett Harbin and also preceded by her sister, Anne H. Roberts. Mrs. Wellborn retired from AFLAC with 20 years of faithful service and was a faithful member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Reverend N. Earl Wellborn of Columbus, her daughters, Glenda and her husband Roderick Burch of McDonough, Georgia, Dr. Patricia and her husband Dr. Frank Hampton of Rome, Georgia, 4 grandchildren, Luke and his wife Danielle Burch, Rachel Burch of Athens, Georgia, Ben Hampton and Lauren Hampton of Rome, Georgia, a great granddaughter, Adair Burch of Athens, Georgia, several nieces and nephews.
