Mary S. Haynes Kimbral Hill

Mary S. Haynes Kimbral Hill, age 90, resident of Fortson, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her residence with her family and caretakers. Funeral services are scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, 2 p.m. with Reverend William Carstens officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Hill, daughter of the late Carl Russell Haynes and Katharine Elizabeth Flowers Haynes, was born July 25, 1926 in New Brockton, Alabama. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills where she worked faithfully for several years. Mrs. Hill was a member of Faith Outreach Church, Phenix City, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her first husband, SFC Carl H. Kimbral and second husband, SSG (Ret) William F. Hill; a son, James Jerry Chadwick; a brother, Billy Joe Haynes; and a sister, Voncille Moore.

Mrs. Hill is survived by two daughters, Judith (Edward) Radney of Smiths, Alabama and Rebecca (Floyd) Baker of Summerville, South Carolina; daughter-in-law, Nora Chadwick of Brandon, Florida; sister, Monette Skidmore of River View, Florida; brother, Johnnie (Bobbie) Haynes of Sun City, Florida; seven grandchildren, Judy Ann (David) Bartholf, Kimbraley Ann (Todd) Jones, Tiffany (Kenny) Skinner, Katharine Chadwick, Brittany Baker, Allyson Baker, and Alan Baker; four great-grandchildren, David E. (Connie) Bartholf, Dustin F. (Nicole) Bartholf, Kristin (Lee Brewer) Jones, and Kaylin Jones; five great-great grandchildren, Bradley Bartholf, Morgan Bartholf, Peyton Brewer, Celeste Johnson, and Vincent Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; many friends to include special friends, Nell Whitehead, Deborah Carstens, and Ms Ann Robinson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Trena Hamilton, Philecia, Stacey, Leila, and Ms. Vee.
