Faye was born on December 19, 1939 to the late Rillon and Clytee Ainsworth in Taylorsville, Mississippi. She attended high school at Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi and graduated in 1958. Faye was known to many as a hard working employee; she was an assistant branch manager for Columbus Bank & Trust at the Windsor Park Branch, she was a former employee of the quarter and she worked there for 29 years before retiring on Valentine’s Day of 2005.
Faye was a woman of faith and she was a proud member of Britt David Baptist Church since 1976. As she walked and talked the Christian life, she was very active in WMU, her Senior Sunday School class, and was a longtime member of the Eastern Star. She made time for everything that was important to her like her family and her church family both of which meant the world to her. There was nothing she loved more than cooking, family get-togethers, and having her family over for meals as those were precious times and certainly meant a lot to her. She loved Sunday dinners at her house or going out to eat with family but she most certainly loved cooking home-cooked meals and having the kids swing by before or after work to spend quality time with her.
One thing that everyone could agree on is that she always saw the best in people. She was a positive ray of light, she always seemed to be the eternal optimist, she always tried to see both sides of things, she was undoubtedly the cornerstone of the family, and only ONCE can her sons Greg and Randy even remember a single choice word come from her lips. She kept the family in church and was a great model and example to follow in living the Christian faith.
Her favorite things included watching birds especially Cardinals in her backyard, trips and yearly vacations with family, gardening around her house, having friends and family over for coffee, and listening to music especially gospel music.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents Rillon Ainsworth and Clytee Ainsworth, her sister Margie (Starks) York, brother Danny Ainsworth, and niece Sharon Starks.
Faye is survived by her sons Gregory A. Moseley (Heidi) and Randy E. Moseley, her grandchildren Mandi Farmer (Brett) and Jonathan Moseley (Chelsea), great grandchildren Brinley, Eli, and Drew Farmer, as well as Lilyana Faye, Charlotte Grace, Makaiya, and Ariyah Moseley, as well as nephews Sammy Starks, Jett Ainsworth, and niece Carey Ainsworth Hodge.
