Margaret Stuart Reynolds, a beloved mother and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, in Phenix City, Alabama, at the age of 90. Born on January 6, 1934, in Union Springs, Alabama, Margaret was the daughter of Joseph Thomas Stuart and Willie Clyde Culpepper Stuart.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her brothers William, Robert, and Emory Stuart, her sisters Mary Hemmingway and Nora Hayes, and her children Shirley Schreiner and David Wayne Teel.
Her legacy continues through her surviving daughters, Jeanette Deese and Michele Hall, who remember her as a devoted and loving mother.
Throughout her life, Margaret was known for her unwavering belief in Christ and her devotion to the Church of Christ. Her strength and resilience were always evident in the way she faced life's challenges, Margaret's life was a testament to the values of love, family, and community, and she leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and lasting impact on those who knew her.
A funeral service to honor Margaret's life will be held Monday, December 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A visitation for family and friends for Margaret will be held One hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907, where she will be reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
Margaret Stuart Reynolds will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be treasured forever.
