Lila was born November 8, 1948 in Finger, TN, daughter of the late William Arthur and Amy Eva Robinson Plunk.
Lila loved and lived life to the fullest. She loved to sew, travel, shop, and most of all care for other people. Lila was known for throwing the best parties, she was definitely the hostess with the mostest, and even though she said she hated dogs, she secretly loved them.
It is said that a mother is the glue that holds a family together, Lila was exactly that. Her family remembers her as the heart of their family. Providing and caring for her family meant so much to her. Lila was never happier than when she was with her family sharing memories, laughing and spending time together. We will miss her sweet spirit and infectious smile but her memory will live forever in our hearts.
In addition to her parents, Lila was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Don Plunk and one sister, Kathy Plunk.
Lila is survived by her loving husband and sole mate of 51 years, Warren Lee Pollock; three children, Lori Pollock, Amy Rector and her husband, Al, and Shana Vasquez and her husband, Matt; six grandchildren, Alex Rector, Alison Rector, Gianna Carrasco, Lila Vasquez, Hazeleah Vasquez and Aimree Vasquez; two sisters, Carol Latimer and Karen Meeker.
A service to celebrate Lila’s life will be held on July 27 near her hometown in Tennessee.
