He was born on July 10, 1940 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Gretchen Rawls Morgan and Robert Lamar Morgan. Kenneth was a Baker High School graduate. He married Frances Underwood of Muscogee County and so began their life of love and many memories. Kenneth was a master carpenter, working for many years, his wood working expertise can be found in many homes and business in the Columbus area. After his retirement from Bill Mann Construction his time was spent caring for his loving wife and creating some of his own wood creations for their home. Kenneth enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a NASCAR fan, a history buff and mostly a loving “PePaw”, who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren-his true passion-other than his wife Frances. He was a loving husband, father, brother, PePaw, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Gretchen Rawls Morgan and Robert Lamar Morgan, his sister, Katherine Courtney and his brother, Sidney L. Morgan.
He leaves his legacy to be cherished by his loving wife, Frances Morgan, his loving children: Carolyn M. Windsor (David), Donald E. Morgan “Chuck”, Denise M. Ladner (Richard); many grandchildren: Kristin D. Windsor, Randi M. Windsor, Misty M. Morgan, Donald E. Morgan Jr. Talmadge K. Morgan, Robert B. Brown, Jason H. Ladner, Lindsey D. Ladner, Andrew J. Ladner, Tyler E. Murray and Crystal J. Ladner and twenty-five great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, Georgia. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, Georgia.
