Kendal (Ken) E. Craig, Jr., Age 65, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on August 20, 2021. Born at the US Army Hospital in Nurnberg, Germany, he is preceded in death by his parents Kendal & Mae Craig and his son, Brad Craig. He is survived by his daughter Christie Powers; son Casey Craig; his sisters Cathy (Jeff) Evers and Carol Clark; grandchildren Kelsie Carlson, Noah Seabolt, Brayden Craig, Trey Craig, Jacob Craig, David Craig, Kayla Craig, Jayden Craig, Ryan Craig, Damien Craig and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken graduated from Smiths Station High School in 1974 and then served in the US Army for 10 years as a Helicopter Technical Inspector later receiving an Honorable Discharge. He worked at Burnham Van Lines for a number of years and owned/operated Professional Chimney Services before semi-retiring. Fishing, hunting and watching Auburn football were his favorite past-times.
