Joseph Edward Novakowski II, 55, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on November 16, 2024 in Columbus Georgia. He was born on August 3, 1969, in Hubert, North Carolina to Darlene and Joseph Novakowski.
Joseph will be remembered for his sense of humor, helpfulness, and love to others. He enjoyed exercise including boxing, training, and watching shows about ghost hunters and bigfoot. Joseph studied at Community College of Allegheny County and graduated with an associate’s degree. He married the love of his life, Young Hee Novakowski, whom he has been married to for 33 years and has worked as a CID Agent and a Police Officer for 31 years with Pittsburgh Police Department.
He is survived by his spouse, Young Hee Novakowski; his children, James, John, and Justin Novakowski; his sister, Jessica Novakowski; his nephews, Jeremy and Joseph Novakowski; and his niece, Hanah Novakowski. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Novakowski; his mother, Darlene Novakowski; and his brother, Jason Novakowski.
