James Kyle Thomas Jr.

James Kyle Thomas, Jr., 60, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on March 21, 2025. James was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Dorothy Ruth Hammonds Thomas and James Kyle Thomas, Sr.. He was a master painter, working with his brother Timothy at Heaven Sent Handyman. James was a diehard fan of Auburn University football. When James was not working or enjoying a good Auburn game, or watching NASCAR, he and his brother Timmy could be found at the river fishing. James loved fishing with his brother. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. James will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved him.

He leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his brother, Timothy Thomas and his wife Carla; his son, James Dale Thomas; his stepdaughter, Melanie Scarborough; his nieces: Heaven Thomas, Heather Thomas, Stephanie Scarborough, Brandy Headley, and Hanna Wuenschel; his nephews: Joshua Scarborough, Travis Hill, Lil'David Scarborough, Adam Headley, and Aaron Scarborough; his great nieces: Brooke Jenkins, Izzabella Scarborough, Jaelyn Hewitt, Kayloni Jenkins, Destiny Scarborough, and a very special great niece Erin Bottoms; his great nephews: Josiah Jenkins, Isaiah Hewitt, Epic Bottoms, A.J. Scarborough, and Lil'Josh Scarborough; also his pets Cash and Max.
