He was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 13, 1962 to JoAnn Yeaman Holland and Robert D. Holland, Sr.
Greg grew up in the Columbus area and was a graduate from Harris County High School. He chose his profession in the Pest Control Industry working with Allen Pest Control Co. and Gatlin Pest Control Co. Inc. Greg enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his Dad flying model planes with the Columbus and Fort Benning Club, Modelers of Columbus. Greg was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Cataula. He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Yeaman Holland.
Greg is survived by his father, Robert D. Holland, Sr. and his brother, Robert D. “Dean” Holland, Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee; niece, Ashley (Eric) Dunn; nephew, David D. Holland; great nieces, Emily and Adeline Dunn all of Knoxville, Tennessee; Uncle Frank Spivey and cousin, Lisa Spivey both of Phenix City, Alabama, Kathyjo (Michael) Gordon and their family of Gray, Georgia; Holland family members to include Aunt Julia Holland and her son Roy Holland, Karen (Michael) Taylor here locally and other family members.
A Graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Emmanuel Baptist Memorial Gardens in Cataula, Georgia with Reverend David Helms officiating.
