Glenda Sue Hunt

Glenda was born April 17, 1942 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Bryant Allen Gunn, Jr. and Agnes Louise Edge Gunn. She was a lifelong resident and was retired from Childcare Network where she taught for many years. Glenda was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Graves.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Johnnie C. Hunt, Sr. of Waverly Hall, GA. children, LaDonna R. Hunt, Richard A. Gunn, Donna L. Randall, Johnnie C. Hunt, Jr., Carol L. Brown and Sonya K, Williams, a sister, Patricia L. Chapman, a brother, Ronald Gunn, and a longtime very close friend "like a sister" Alice Mitchell, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in the St. Elmo Room. A Celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
