Elizabeth Mary Rhodes

Elizabeth "Liz" Mary Rhodes, age 44, of Columbus, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Elizabeth Mary Rhodes was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 7, 1980, to William and Linda Rhodes.

Liz was extremely talented in many ways with many passions. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu as a Patissier 2011. She is a testament to willpower, perseverance, ingenuity. She said her greatest power was to follow instructions and create anything, but it was her ability to learn and adapt. Liz followed her own path and dreams. She became a pastry chef in order to invent recipes and delight others.

She had many hobbies. She taught herself to sew and worked tirelessly to find the perfect patterns and materials she needed to make purses and bags. From there she started her own business Chubby Bunny Studios. Using her force of personality on Social Media she became known all over the world as an in demand creator and teacher of purses, bags, and wallets.

She is survived by her spouse Aaron Tuftee of Columbus, GA. Her parents William and Linda Rhodes of Kissimmee, FL. Her brothers Erik Mock and Chris Stiles of Kissimmee, FL.

Liz was a bright and vivid personality who truly left the world a better place.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus.
