Graveside services will follow at 3:00pm (EST), Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Parkhill Cemetery. The family request you "come as you are" or feel free to wear an Alabama, Columbus Cotton Mouth Hockey, NASCAR or Harley Davidson shirt to show your support for Eddie's favorite past-times. Pastor Bill Birmingham will be officiating.

Eddie was born August 30, 1956 in Butler, Georgia to the late Alfred and Lola Watson. He is survived by two daughters; Windy (Steven Counts) Watson and Kayla (Justin) Lazenby, two sisters; Sandy (Steve) Watson and Vickie Williams, three brothers; Danny (Cora) Watson, Donny (Diane) Watson and Bobby (Deana) Watson, four grandchildren; Jaxson Lazenby, Katherine Lazenby, Devin Counts and Savannah Powell, and several nieces and nephews.

He will always be remembered by his warmth, kindness, love for life, family and friends. He was an all-around hard working, simply good guy. He never met a stranger and made a positive difference in the lives of many. Eddie had extraordinary faith in God and believed he would be okay no matter his outcome. Although many may think that he loss his life to cancer....Eddie was very clear that cancer would not take him...God would!
