Dorothy C. Tucker, 92, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum of Parkhill Cemetery at 11:00 AM with visitation 30 minutes prior.
Born on August 27, 1929, in Garfield, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles A. Clark, Jr. and Mary Bell Clark. Dorothy was an avid gardener, and a member of the Sears Woods Garden Club. She loved to sing and spend time with her grandchildren. Dorothy loved family gatherings, and the holidays. She was a great cook and loved her Coca-Cola. She was an avid bridge player, and looked forward to playing with her friends. Dorothy was a member of the Women’s Club of Columbus and Weldrop Memorial Baptist Church. She was a Real Estate Agent here in Columbus for many years and loved every minute of it.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Clark; and her husband, Lt. Col. Guy L. Tucker.
Those left to cherish her memories are her 3 daughters, Sue Barnwell (Billy) of LaGrange, GA., Cindy Maher of Newnan, GA., Heidi Graziano (Tony) of Columbus, GA.; grandchildren, Kristen Barnwell Enlow (Brian), Meghan Maher Argo (Reamer), Erin Maher Hight (Dustin), Rebecca Barnwell Patrus (Walt), Stephen Graziano (Ashley); great grandchildren, Reamer Argo V, Hudson Hight, Tucker Argo, Ryder Argo, Hollis Hight, Hallie Hight, Davis Enlow, Reid Enlow and Charles Patrus.
