Diane Kirkland Davis, age 68, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Friday September 14, 2018. Diane was born October 4, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to her late parents, Francis M. Kirkland and Esker H. Kirkland. Diane was a Homemaker and attended The Living Word Church. She was an avid reader and loved to bake and cook. Diane enjoyed music and dancing and babysitting her grand dog Bentley, but most of all, she loved her daughter Candice. She will be miss by all who knew and loved her.
Diane is survived by; daughter Candice Amanda Davis; Aunt Penny Gasalberti, Uncles Bobby Joe Messer and Eugene Messer. Other than her parents, Diane was preceded in death by; her daughter Amanda Diane Riley; and her sister Donna Lynn Borders.
A viewing and visitation for family and friends for Diane will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in The St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA. A Celebration of Diane’s Life will occur Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA. Followed by a committal service at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
