Dee was born on May 13, 1967 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Leon P. Bell and Loretta Cook Bell. She was a graduate of Jordan Vocational High School. Dee worked for many years in local jewelry stores, here in Columbus and in Macon, Georgia. She was an animal lover, she loved her dogs, JR and Blair. If you knew Dee you couldn’t help but to enjoy her laughter and her spirit, she was a great joy to be around.
She leaves her husband, Chris Young; brothers: Steven Bell and Keith Bell; nephew, Austin Bell and numerous other relatives and great friends to cherish her loving memory.
A Celebration of Life for Dee will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM EST in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Family will visit with friends one hour prior to the celebration. She will be laid to rest alongside her parents in Parkhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
