Daniel "Scott" Hudson

Daniel was born October 16, 1965 in Columbus, Georgia; the son of Danny Lee Hudson and Sandra Kay Gregory. Scott graduated from Chavala High School in 1983. He married the love of his life Stephanie Anne Shumaker and they were married for 32 years. Scott was employed by McCauley Propeller for over 17 years. He enjoyed time spent with his wife and children, deer hunting, his dogs, and those Auburn Tigers. Scott had a great sense of humor, he and his children could always find something to laugh, joke, or tease each other about. Over the last several years Scott bought fruit trees, many fruit trees, his family will laugh and remember the “stressed importance” of how to water all of his fruit trees. Scott was a smart and hard worker, values he taught his children, along with the importance of family. Scott cherished the role of husband and father, his family meant the world to him.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Sandra; and a sister, Lynn Cox.

Survivors include: his wife, Stephanie Hudson; his daughter, Gabriella “Jordan” Hudson; his son, Prentiss Layne Hudson; a brother, Greg (Denise) Ackerman; and numerous other family and friends of the family.
