A gathering of family and friends will be held 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel.
Bill was born February 24, 1942 in Aiken to John and Sarah Rabon Morton. He will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh, his kindness and his dedication to his family. Bill was a master builder, enjoyed creating watches and pickin' and singin'.
In addition to his parents he his predeceased by his siblings, Jack Morton, Ted Morton and Bernice Sheffield and a grandson, Jacob Gower.Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 61 years; Elise W. Morton, two daughters; Susan Nelson, Sandra Fowler (Mark), grandchildren; three Joshua Lambert (Bernadette), Kristin Boswell (Will), Katelyn Easely (Skoddi), three great grandchildren; Mercedes Lambert, Kingston Lambert, Jameson Lambert and his favorite yapper, Rosie.
