Susan Elizabeth Jordan

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Susan Elizabeth Jordan will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Jordan passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Jordan and Callie Faulkenberry Jordan.

Susan was a graduate of Bennettsville High School and attended Columbia College. She retired from the S.C. Department of Corrections after 30 years. She was also an affiliate of North Trenholm Baptist Church at NHC Parklane.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Joyce Mobley, Justine Parker, David Jordan (Martha), Nancy Mumford, Patsy Hendley (Thad), Barbara Beverly (Wilbur), Margaret Barrington, Charity Speight (Douglas), Joe Jordan (Jane), Michael Jordan (Mary), Lanelle Moore (Randy), Ray Jordan (Debbie), Bill Jordan (Gail), and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Joe, Bill, Pete, and Bruce Jordan, and her sister, Margaret Parker.

The family would like to thank NHC Parklane for all their love and care over the past three years, as well as the staff of Providence Health, second floor ICU, on Forest Drive.
